> A new dining venue is planned for the 6,500 square foot space formerly occupied by Dave's Taverna. The owners of Byers Street Bistro and Sauced in Staunton have purchased the building and will be bringing a new concept to the space.
> "Benny Sorrentino's" is slated to open on Mason Street downtown. Begun by two Virginia Tech undergrads, this regional chain serves pizza by the slice. The Harrisonburg location is their fifth store.
> Midtowne Market owners have decided to open a new location, a gourmet food and beer site on Water Street slated to begin this summer.
> "Ruby's Arcade" is set to be located beneath the Wine Brothers building, courtesy of the owner of Clementine's downtown.
> Happy Birthday to Jack Brown's restaurant. They're celebrating 5 years in Harrisonburg!
> Bakers Dozen, one of the Donut Trucks in the Metro area has secured a bricks and mortar space beside Fox's Pizza Den on Mount Clinton Pike.
