[ARCHIVED] Public Notice - Consideration of Boundary Line Adjustment with Town of Timberville


The Rockingham County Board of Supervisors will hold a public hearing at its meeting December 10, 2014, at 6:00 p.m. at the Rockingham County Administration Center, 20 East Gay Street, Harrisonburg, Virginia, to take public comment on the Board’s consideration of a boundary line adjustment with the Town of Timberville that, if approved, would include: 0.68 acres owned by Shenandoah Valley Electric Cooperative (SVEC) and identified by tax map number 40-(A)-L76; 3.688 acres owned by First United Methodist Church of Broadway and identified by tax map number 40-(A)-L77, and; an approximate 4.5 to 5.0 acre portion of the property currently owned by Ira C. Spitzer and identified by tax map number 52-(A)-L18 under contract by Sentara RMH.

Information concerning this matter, and a copy of the proposed boundary line adjustment agreement, is on file in the County Administrator’s Office, 20 East Gay Street, Harrisonburg, Virginia, and is available for public inspection during regular business hours.
