As of July 1, 2017, all documents, excluding deeds and deeds of trust for property located solely in the City of Harrisonburg, will have a $1 Virginia Outdoors Foundation fee collected. This fee has been collected on Rockingham County deeds and deeds of trust since 2004 but will now be collected on all other documents except for deeds and deeds of trust for City of Harrisonburg property.
If you are using the deed calculator site prior to July 1, 2017 to determine recording fees for documents that will be recorded after July 1st and the Show Calc Details page does not have a $1 collected for Virginia Outdoors Foundation (035), add $1 to the recording fees to avoid rejection of documents.
