RESERVOIR STREET IMPROVEMENTS

Willingness to Hold a Public Hearing
Rockingham County is proposing widening improvements along Reservoir Street (Route 710) from the intersection of Stone Spring Road (Route 726) to the Rockingham County/City of Harrisonburg corporate limits.
The project consists of roadway and drainage improvements related to the widening of Reservoir Street from two to four lanes with shoulders, the addition of a raised median, as well as intersection improvements at Fieldale Place.
A copy of the project plans, along with other information concerning the project are available for review at the Rockingham County Administration Center. In accordance with Title VI and Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, no person shall be excluded from, participation in, or be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any program or activity receiving Federal financial assistance. Rockingham County is willing to hold a public hearing for this project. You may request that a public hearing be held by sending a written request stating your concerns to Stephen G. King, Deputy County Administrator, Rockingham County Administration Center, 20 East Gay Street, Harrisonburg, VA 22802 on or before February 20, 2013. If a request for a public hearing is received, and the concerns addressed in the request cannot be adequately resolved, a public hearing will be scheduled at a time and place to be advertised in a future notice.
