Notice of Rockingham County Virginia Board of Supervisors Meeting

Public Input Regarding Proposed Commonwealth of Virginia Legislation Concerning Firearms

The Rockingham County Board of Supervisors will hold their regularly-scheduled meeting at 20 East Gay Street in Harrisonburg, beginning at 3PM on December 11, 2019, with a recess for dinner, and already-scheduled and advertised Public Hearings to begin at 6PM regarding proposed land-use matters.

Once those hearings are complete the Board will recess the meeting and travel to Spotswood High School located at 368 Blazer Drive, Penn Laird, VA, in order to receive public input regarding potential firearms-related legislation proposed by the Virginia Legislature.  The meeting is moving to this location to provide greater seating capacity.  Public Comment will begin around 7:15PM; actual start time may vary.  The auditorium at Spotswood High School will be open to the public at 6:30PM.
