The Solar Facility Study Committee was appointed by the Board of Supervisors in November 2020, completing its review of the existing zoning codes regulating solar energy facilities in April 2021. These proposed “Draft Recommendations for Ground-Mounted Solar Energy Facilities” were presented in a joint Work Session with the Board of Supervisors and Planning Commission May 26th and available for public comment through Friday, June 4, 2021 by e-mailing here. Future meetings and/or hearings will be scheduled and publicly advertised in the coming months once ordinance amendments are drafted
