PUBLIC NOTICE
The Rockingham County Board of Supervisors will hold a public hearing at its meeting June 12, 2013, at 6:00 p.m. at the Rockingham County Administration Center, 20 East Gay Street, Harrisonburg, Virginia, to take public comment on the Board’s intention to sell the following property:
All that certain tract or parcel of land, known as tax parcel 38-A-34, with all improvements thereon, containing approximately 43,559 square feet, located north of Route 259 and on the western bank of Runions Creek about four miles west of Broadway, in Plains District, Rockingham County, Virginia, which real estate has on it certain restrictive covenants including that the property shall be dedicated and maintained in perpetuity for uses compatible with open space, recreational, or wetlands management practices and no new structures may be built on the property except as may be deemed compatible with the open space requirement, as approved by the FEMA Regional Director.
Information concerning this matter is on file in the County Administrator’s Office, 20 East Gay Street, Harrisonburg, Virginia, and is available for public inspection during regular business hours.
