An amusement device is a device or structure, open to the public, by which persons are conveyed or moved in an unusual manner for amusement, but excluding snow-tubing parks and rides, ski terrain parks, ski slopes, ski trails, and passenger tramways.
An amusement device permit can be applied for in person or by using the online portal. To best prepare, have all supporting documents complete before applying. Applications should be submitted a minimum of five (5) business days before the event or public use. A Certificate of Insurance or Proof of Financial responsibility of an amount not less than $1,000,000 per occurrence shall be submitted with the application.
