  • Twelve members - 8 County / 4 City
  • One member is a member of the Sheriff's Department Staff
  • Virginia statute (§ 37.2-501) requires that one-third of the appointments to the Board shall be identified consumers, former consumers, or family members of consumers or former consumers; at least one of whom shall be a consumer receiving services
  • Serves as policy-making board for agency on mental health, intellectual disability, and substance abuse for the County and City
  • Meets 8:00 am, second Tuesday of each month
  • Three Year Terms
